1. Stay home. Stop leaving the house. Become a homebody. : (
2. Get the kids back on their routines. (Oh, how I wish I could go out all day--I love to be busy!)
3. Stop giving Aubrey liquids near bedtime.
4. Start potty training for reals on Monday. Even at night and naptime, if possible.
5. Do all the spring cleaning that needs to be done. (while I'm home potty training, possibly?)
*Clean the oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher
*Oil the wood cabinets
*Organize and deep clean the laundry room
*Glue piece on entertainment stand
*Paint shelves for kid's room
*Put up pictures in living room
*Put up pictures/finish decorating kids room
*Clean out small kids clothes and organize their closet
*Organize jewelry box
*Dust high spots
That doesn't sound too bad now that I've written it down. I just have to do it. If I do it, I'll have lots more stuff to post about. If I don't, then know that Aubrey's the priority and I'm trying not to go insane.
In July, we're going for about a month to California and Utah....so I must be crazy to start potty training now!

Gosh, good luck on the potty training. You can do it! It wasn't that bad, once I decided to just DO IT! :) Zach's aunt gave me some great tips... if you want them let me know! :) Yet another thing we have in common, once I write my to do list down, I feel SO much more in control and better about the situation. haha.
If the potty training's successful, you'll be so glad you tackled it before your trip. Oh, and how I wish my list was as short as yours! Although, I have gotten a lot done this week. It just never ends, does it?!
love your idea of getting rid of diapers cold turkey. that worked for ella. GOOD LUCK! and i stayed home a lot during that time too and it seemed to do the trick, it sounds like you have some good plans to a successful potty trained little one.
You can do it! By the way, I remember you mentioned you were coming to Utah in July and i never responded to you! When are you coming again? We for sure need to get together to catch up!
Don't get too discouraged about potty training. I know that there are all kinds of miracle stories out there of quick training, and for some kids that's true. I've found that with mine, we have a rough month (or two, or three...) and then they seem to get the gist of it. But they will still have accidents. He'll have a good week, and then one day where he just never seems to make it to the toilet. It can be frustrating, and seems to take forever, but one day (usually about a year later) I realize that I haven't had to change sheets or the kids clothes that week, then month, etc. So. Patience! Good Luck!
Excellent work.
You are master!
Go Janae! I finally potty-trained Sammy, and if he can do it,(and he did it fairly quick) anyone can.
If I had your list of things to do (and I probably do, but I just don't bother to look at what needs to be done) I'd forget about it and just focus on whatever you want. I love your little comic that you posted. So true!
