We celebrated our 5th anniversary last Friday (and Saturday). We dropped the kids off and headed to The Cheesecake Factory. It was our first time there, and WONDERFUL. Good company, good food.
I fell in love with the avocado egg rolls and this caramel pecan turtle cheesecake. But even the cheesecake doesn't do justice to how much we love each other. All I can say to best explain it is, "More than ever."Afterward we shopped in the beautiful Kenwood mall and got our wedding rings cleaned and polished. Oooh, so sparkly!!
Saturday, we went to the Louisville temple and did baptisms for the dead. Doug did the baptisms and confirmations for me--the first time we've done them together. In the temple is where pure happiness is.
May there be many more years of love ahead. (And dates, and cheesecake) I love you, honey.

Happy Anniversary! I love the Kenwood Mall. I've even been to that Cheesecake Factory! Hope you're enjoying the Cincinnati humidity!!
Yay! Happy Anniversary! Our 6 year anniversary is this Sunday. I have no idea what Jamie has up his sleeve. We alternate who plans the anniversary date and this is his year, so we shall see! Congrats on your 5 years, it's always great to see others get to those milestones!
Aww, what a nice anniversary. Isn't it amazing to find out that love really does grow? It may not be that butterfly feeling, but it's deep and rich and wonderful. Like cheesecake. :)
Congratulations! You guys did a lot more on your 5th than we did. Of course it's hard with the baby. I'm glad you had a good time. I love the Cheesecake Factory, but alas, we don't have one here. They might in SLC now, but I'm not sure. My favorite there is the Dulce de Leche. YUM!
