This morning:
I picked up Zach from off the floor and got a handful of poo leaking out of his diaper. Unbeknownst to me, it had also gotten on my toe. As I ran to the changing table, I tracked poo from my toe to the carpet--all across the house.
Then, I changed Aubrey a few minutes later and as I took the diaper out from under her, poo rolled out onto the floor.
We definitely need to clean our carpets SOON.

hilarious but also horrible at the same time.
That's hilarious! I had poo roll out from under London onto my sister's bed once. We laughed so hard (even my sister). And another time when she was quite small we were visiting with a friend out of town. I always brought her an extra outfit because she was known for her "blowouts" and of course, she did. Right in the middle of dinner at Souplantation. And of course they didn't have a changing table in the bathroom. I had to bathe her with wipes on a cold tile floor (at least I had a changing pad). And then I found out it was all over me. Who brings extra outfits for themselves? Not me. So I had to buy a new shirt. Yeah, gross. Anyway, I know you wanted to hear those stories! You crack me up.
What a pooey mess!!
i love it! oh the things people don't really tell you about baby life but you end up experiencing for yourself. Was that a complete sentence I just made?(it's late) Anyway, poo stories are the best.
oh my gosh Janae, I am so sorry but I was laughing out loud!! that has happened to me before... but someday, they WILL be old enough to poop in the toilet!!
NASTY! The sad thing is, I can totally relate! We still don't have a single day that Addi doesn't crap up her back. It's a good thing she has a lot of clothes for her to change into.
Isn't it funny how in some way every mom can relate to your post. Hope you day isn't as stinky!
