How to be more positive:
- 1. Try to look on the bright side during times of change.
- 2. Make a list of the possibilities and opportunities that could come out of any obstacles you face.
- 3. Surround yourself with happy, positive people. They may rub off on you! And strong social ties help you power through the tough times in life.
*Allergies have taught me that I'm grateful to have (regular) sight, smell, and taste. And Claritin.
*Having mold in my toothbrush means that I've brushed regularly, and that the humidity in the air is helping to create the lush greenery outside.
*Having obligations such as teaching in YW's, writing stories, and taking care of our family helps me to prioritize and get out of my shell.
*Lack of sleep means that I am not at peace because I haven't prioritized as well. Reading my scriptures and WORKING on the things that I'm trying to avoid doing WILL help me sleep! (and perhaps help the kids sleep too?)
*Being near a possible tornado watch today helped me to see that I love my family more than anything else--and that we need more food storage.
*Having a mess in the entire house after cleaning it all up an hour previously means I have healthy kids who love to play.
This really has helped me to feel better. Thanks for all your comments which boost me so much! Here's to being more happy.

Love your new blog. You're so funny. I need to make that kind of list too.
If there is anything that a bout with depression (and anti depression meds!) has taught me, it is that most things are just a matter of how you look at it. We really are cerebral beings, living in our heads. I love your positive thinking! It really does work, doesn't it? Now, if only positive thinking could mop floors for you... :)
I love your positive thinking! You have always been an optimist to me Janae!
I can just hear you saying all those things you are so cute and I miss you! Natasha
