This makes me feel better

I started a job today. I'm a substitute for the playland at our gym. I took my kids and played with other kids for four hours, and got paid to have fun. The only thing was that my kids missed their naps, but since lately I don't know the meaning of a schedule, it was no big deal. They're just sleeping now during dinner instead. If only I'd get a free membership because of working there. (I would've if I hadn't signed a contract. When the contract's up I'd get it free, but we'll be out of here by then.) Still, after feeling down and letting the house come to shambles (is that a word?), it was nice to have a reason to get out and go somewhere, and to see Aubrey and Zach enjoying it as well.

Anyway, I just read this and it made me feel much more positive. I love her blog.

I'm nearing my 100th post, so look out because I've got a fun one in store!

Sounds like a great job. I bet it will be nice to have something to do that involves your kids and brings in a little extra money. The website I used to make the bows is

Good luck and be sure to post pictures of the final project.

Tips on potty training???? Thats hard because every kids is different. What works for one may not work for the other. Jace was easy and potty trained in about 2 weeks, but Livi was more difficult and it took a few months. Livi LOVES sweets so we bribed her with gumballs. Every time she went in the toilet she got TWO gumballs. You've just got to make a really big deal out of everything about it. First thing we went to the store and pick her out some "REALLY NEAT PRINCESS PANTIES" and that made her excited about wearing them. And be ready to clean up a lot of accidents off your carpet. That's just part of the game. Anyway, good luck.

Just remembered....What finally pushed her to really finalizing potty traing was every time she'd have an accident in her panties we'd put her in "time-out" for a couple of minutes. We did that because we knew she knew not to go in her panties and she wasn't going in the toilet becuase she was just lazy. We only had to do that for a couple of weeks and now she never has an accident.
Anyways, I don't know if thats cruel, but we felt we had to resort to something other than just changing her wet underwear and saying "okay, lets try to go in the toilet next time". Again, good luck. :-)
