We went to a friend's house for Thanksgiving. I had too much fun and made six pies from scratch and homemade rolls. *Note to self: making six pies=exhaustion and too much dessert
Forgot to take pics of the food until afterward, so here's what was left. We missed having it with family but had fun with our friends. I only get yams once a year and oh, how I love them!
Look at my hot hubbie! We watched Night at the Museum after Thanksgiving dinner. It was a pretty cute show.
Doug was sad we didn't have any leftover turkey since our friends made it this year, so we decided to have another Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday. Doug cooked the turkey all by himself and it was delicious!

I love your plates! That's funny about making a 2nd turkey...that is totally something that we would do too! You gotta have that left over turkey!
I'm glad you had friends to share Thanksgiving with. Nice that you had lots of leftovers, too. We brought a few things back from St. George, but not enough for a whole meal. Enjoy that turkey! I've got several meals worth in my freezer.
